What's next

At Propel, we are asking ourselves: if we were to build our organization from scratch today with the help of AI, what would be possible?

‍

Social problems don't wait; they grow larger every year. Yet, AI often arrives late to those tackling them. This is exactly what we want to change.

Five years ago, we created Propel with one conviction: the social sector deserves access to technology and talent.
Since then, we have supported hundreds of leaders across Latin America who know their communities' problems firsthand. They don't lack ideas or the determination to solve them; they lack the tools and resources to do so.

‍
Today, with artificial intelligence, that conviction becomes even more urgent.

‍
AI is changing how we work and solve problems. We know it also brings real risks. But at Propel, we believe that if we use it with purpose, it can have a positive impact on our region.

‍
We see small teams achieving more. Leaders who are using technology today to understand their data, improve their programs, and reach more people.
Over these five years, we’ve learned that technology doesn’t create impact on its own. People do.

‍
This report tells part of that story and expresses our gratitude to those who have believed in us and built alongside us.

‍
If AI is going to transform the world, those working to make it better must be part of that transformation.

‍
This is just the beginning.
