Five years ago, we started Propel with one conviction: Latin America’s social sector needs access to technology and talent to grow its impact.

Since then, we have supported hundreds of leaders across Latin America who know the challenges in their communities firsthand. They don’t lack ideas or determination. They lack the tools and resources to act on them.

With AI, that conviction is more urgent than ever. AI is changing how we work and solve problems. We know it also carries real risks. But we believe that, used with purpose, it can do real good in our region.

We already see small teams achieving more, and leaders using technology to understand their data, improve their programs, and reach more people.

Over these five years, we have learned that technology doesn’t create impact on its own. People do.

This report tells part of that story. It is also our thank-you to everyone who has believed in us and built alongside us.

If AI is going to transform the world, the people working to make it better must be part of that transformation.

This is just the beginning.
