10 digital solutions with social impact in Latin America
Ten social leaders from Latin America participated in the Propel Impact Accelerator, a program designed to boost the impact of their organizations. During the acceleration, they received USD 15,000, over 90 hours of pro bono support, and more than 100 hours of coaching with experts.
Thanks to this support, they strengthened their networks, adopted a digital mindset, and overcame challenges with expert guidance. Today, we celebrate their progress, vision, and the power of collaboration to close gaps in Latin America.

Flori – Coschool 🇨🇴
Solution: A chatbot to strengthen socio-emotional learning in schools.
In Colombia, 44% of young people face mental health issues. To address this, Coschool developed Flori, an AI-powered chatbot that provides personalized support available 24/7 for students and teachers.
With its programs, they’ve already reached over 50,000 people and plan to impact an additional 2.5 million students in Latin America by 2030 with the launch of their app.
Podera Chatbot – Kantaya 🇵🇪
Solution: A virtual assistant to follow up with female assistants in early education.
Peru ranks 129th out of 137 in educational quality, with significant gaps in rural areas where teachers lack proper training. To combat this, Podera developed an AI chatbot that provides ongoing virtual training and personalized support to train women as education assistants.
Podera has benefited over 800 women in 23 regions, providing them with training to ease their learning and labor integration. By 2029, they aim to train 4,000 assistants nationwide.
FunFesco – FESCO Foundation 🇨🇴
Solution: A digital tool platform for educators.
In Caldas, Colombia, hundreds of children live in vulnerable conditions. To improve their care, FESCO Foundation developed FunFesco, a system that facilitates tracking beneficiaries with an adaptable platform.
The foundation has already benefited over 50,000 people and led 100,000 projects. With FunFesco, they’ve trained 25 digital educators and aim to train 50 more, support 450 families, and impact 100 youth this year.
En Casa con Glasswing – Glasswing International 🇸🇻
Solution: Automating their youth volunteer program.
In El Salvador, violence and migration disrupt the education of thousands of young people. To create safe learning spaces, Glasswing developed En Casa con Glasswing, combining virtual educational sessions with volunteer accompaniment. With Propel, they strengthened their volunteer management process to increase their efficiency.
Glasswing is present in 7 countries and has impacted over 550,000 people. With this program, they aim to reach 11,000 children in 9 countries next year, with 500 active volunteers.
Social CRM – Timbalé 🇨🇴
Solution: Process automation to scale their community work with youth.
In Colombia, over 3.2 million young people are out of the education system and without employment, facing violence and exclusion. To address this, Timbalé implemented a CRM to improve communication and follow-up with their beneficiaries.
Timbalé has empowered 500 young people and trained 3,000 in artistic projects. With this tool, they’ve increased their efficiency by 25% and aim to reach 1,500 youth by 2027.
ChatBot Bive – Bive 🇨🇴
Solution: A chatbot to improve access to healthcare services for the elderly.
In Colombia, 50% of rural communities lack access to healthcare, and many people must travel up to 8 hours to receive medical care. To streamline and expand access, Bive created a chatbot designed for elderly users, offering guidance and fast connections to medical services. They also strengthened their internal processes to ensure a more efficient and quality experience.
Bive has impacted over 120,000 people. With their new chatbot, they’ve assisted over 600 users and plan to reach over 7,000 people in rural areas this year.
Infórmate Ya – TeenSmart International 🇨🇷🇳🇮
Solution: Updating their virtual library to strengthen access to youth health information.
In Central America, teenagers face high risks due to the lack of access to reliable health information. In response, TeenSmart optimized their virtual library Infórmate Ya to improve navigation and access to educational content.
TeenSmart has impacted 160,000 young people in 20 countries and manages over 500 weekly consultations on their Joven Salud platform. With Infórmate Ya, they’ve created 275 informational resources and aim to empower more than 20,000 young people this year with accessible information.
QIMIY – Saphi 🇵🇪
Solution: An AI chatbot to facilitate financial access for speakers of indigenous languages.
In Peru, over 3.8 million people speak an indigenous language but face exclusion in basic services. Saphi developed QIMIY, an AI-powered chatbot that listens and responds in Quechua, trained with over 300 questions.
Saphi has impacted over 50,000 people. With QIMIY, they aim to reach over 100,000 users in the next three years.
ConnectTECH – ConnectED 🇬🇹
Solution: A platform co-created with indigenous communities for education.
In Guatemala, school dropout rates are high among indigenous youth due to poor educational quality. To support these communities, ConnectED created ConnectTECH, a platform that works offline 24/7, connecting local knowledge with digital tools and offering tailored training.
ConnectED has reached over 290 communities. With ConnectTECH, they plan to impact 100 more communities by 2025.
KodeaSync – Kodea 🇨🇱
Solution: A platform to systematize and share the knowledge of their team.
In Chile, 31% of tech vacancies remain unfilled due to a lack of skilled talent. Kodea developed KodeaSync, a platform that organizes internal best practices, creating guides and recommendations for the entire team.
Kodea has benefited over 2.5 million people with digital skills training. Thanks to KodeaSync, they’ve saved 83% of management time, increasing their efficiency and reach.
