Q&A
Do I have to be a non-profit organization to apply?
All organizations with a social impact business model can be part of the fellowship.
What language is the Fellowship in?
The fellowship is in Spanish.
Can I invite my team?
The most successful organizations bring additional team members. If accepted, the cost is $125 USD per person.
Can my organization or employer sponsor the Fellowship for me?
Yes, in fact 97% of fellows are sponsored by their organizations or employers.
Do you offer scholarships?
The fellowship fee is highly subsidized. However, we don't want cost to be a barrier. We offer a limited number of need-based scholarships for underrepresented groups. Scholarships will cover up to 50% of the fee.
Does my organization have to be based in Latin America?
We are seeking organizations with specific operations or projects in Latin American countries.
What is the selection process like?
Complete the application form when we have an open call. If you are selected, you will receive an email notification with an invitation to go through a 15-minute interview (We want to make sure that the fellowship is for you). Once we confirm by mail that we accept you, you must secure your space by registering and paying.
Will I receive a certificate upon completion?
Yes, every fellow who completes the fellowship receives a certificate of completion. Completing the course involves visualizing 80% of the sessions, making the digital plan for growth, and completing the exit survey. You can share your certificate on your LinkedIn profile.
Do I need to attend all virtual sessions in real time?
We suggest that you attend at least 80% of the sessions to make the most of the fellowship. If you want to relive the sessions, the recordings will be available on our platform.
Are there any face-to-face meetings during the fellowship?
The meetings during the fellowship are virtual in real time. We encourage our fellows to hold in-person meetings if they have the opportunity.
What is the fellowship schedule?
The live sessions are Tuesday and Thursday 10AM CO/ 9AM CDMX via Zoom. You can attend optional sessions to answer questions on Wednesdays.
So are there mandatory deliveries?
Not required. We offer frameworks to enrich learning. The completion of the final project is necessary to obtain the certificate.
Can I take the course on my own?
The fellowship features live and asynchronous sessions. It's recommended to attend live to maximize success, but you can also access the recorded sessions and submit your projects on the platform when you're ready.
Do I have time to participate in the fellowship if I work full time?
We designed the course for professionals with full-time jobs. We suggest dedicating 5 hours a week, between live sessions and asynchronous learning, but we offer flexibility in the pace of study.
