Q&A

Do I have to be a nonprofit to apply?

All organizations with a social impact business model can join the fellowship.

In what language is the Fellowship?

The fellowship is in Spanish.

Can I invite my team?

The most successful organizations come with other team members. If accepted, the additional price is $125 USD per person.

Can my organization or employer sponsor the Fellowship?

Yes, in fact, 97% of fellows are sponsored by their organizations or employers.

Do you offer scholarships?

The fellowship fee is highly subsidized. However, we don't want cost to be a barrier. We offer a limited number of need-based scholarships and for underrepresented groups. Scholarships will cover until 50% of the fee.

Does my organization have to be based in Latin America?

We are seeking organizations with specific operations or projects in Latin American countries.

What is the selection process like?

Complete the application form once the appliction process is open. If selected, you will receive an email invitation for a 15-minute interview (we want to ensure the fellowship is right for you). Once accepted via email, secure your spot by completing registration and payment.

Will I receive a certificate upon completion?

Yes, each fellow who completes the fellowship receives a completion certificate. Completion entails attending 80% of sessions, completing the digital growth plan, and filling out the exit survey. You can share your certificate on your LinkedIn profile.

Do I need to attend all virtual sessions in real time?

We suggest attending at least 80% of sessions to maximize fellowship benefits. Session recordings will be available on our platform for review.

Are there any in-person meetings during the fellowship?

Fellowship meetings are virtual and in real-time. We encourage fellows to arrange in-person meetings if possible.

What is the schedule for the Fellowship?

Live sessions are on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10 AM CO-PE / 9 AM CDMX via Zoom. You can join optional Q&A sessions on Wednesdays.

So, are there mandatory submissions?

Not mandatory. We provide frameworks to enrich learning. Completion of the final project is necessary to obtain the certificate.

Can I take the course on my own?

The fellowship includes live and asynchronous sessions. Attending live sessions is recommended for maximum success, but you can also access recorded sessions and submit projects on the platform when ready.

Do I have time to join the Fellowship if I work full time?

We've designed the course for full-time professionals. We suggest dedicating 5 hours per week, including live sessions and asynchronous learning, but offer study flexibility.

I have more questions, how can I get in touch?

Contact us at hola@wepropel.org for any questions.
