Where is the funding for nonprofits?
Fundraising is one of the main challenges for social organizations. The challenge is even greater in Latin America, where only 1% of global funding is directed to the region.
From country-specific regulatory obstacles to limited opportunities, 69% of social organizations in the region consider fundraising their biggest barrier to growth and sustainability.
But it’s not all bad news. Some organizations are betting on the social sector in LatAm. We created this Funds Database filled with grants and programs to boost organizations across the region.
