In Colombia, 455,000 people suffer from hearing disabilities. Because of the lack of resources and support, they are at a disproportionate risk of not accessing education and experiencing social isolation, loneliness, and stigma.

Óyeme facilitates inclusion of people with hearing disabilities in Antioquia, Colombia, providing communicative and educational alternatives.

Óyeme has reached 1,600+ direct participants and 3,000+ indirect participants.

The Chocó Department in Colombia has limited entrepreneurial development, ranked among the last places in competitiveness, and its capital, Quibdó, has one of the highest unemployment rates in the country.

GEInnova promotes projects for social and entrepreneurial development in the Chocó Department by scaling businesses and projects online.

GEInnova has trained more than 800 people, with 39 initiatives strengthening their business models, and 26 entrepreneurs receiving seed capital for their productive activities.

In Panama, low-quality education and lack of job opportunities threaten youth wellbeing.

Fundación Espacio Creativo (FEC) broadens opportunities for youth development through dance, education, and culture.

FEC reaches 300 youth annually through its three comprehensive training programs: Enlaces, Sandbox and COCO dance company. Outcomes include a 47% reduction in violent incidents amongst youth, post emotional development training in 2021.

A low culture of volunteering is evident in Peru, with the country ranking #51 of 119 countries surveyed in volunteer hours according to the World Giving Index 2022.

Through its digital platform, Proa connects people and companies to make volunteering and solidarity donations, thus creating a community among them.

In 2022, Proa mobilized more than 19 thousand volunteers, allowing them to generate an impact in society in an area of their interest.

In the Peruvian Amazon, over 125,000 hectares of forest have been deforested, and 185 tons of mercury are released annually. This contamination affects more than 50% of the population, especially Indigenous communities.

CINCIA applies science to restore ecosystems and reduce mercury exposure. It leads reforestation efforts with native species and biochar, involving communities, miners, and volunteers. CINCIA also monitors mercury levels with local allies to inform public policy change.

Since 2016, CINCIA has reached over 5,000 people, building local capacity and advancing sustainable solutions to the Amazon’s socio-environmental challenges.

There are more than 1,800 childhood cancer cases in Peru each year, of which only 30% survive because they are detected early or have the economic resources.

MAGIA helps children with cancer who do not have economic resources to cover medical treatments through its Social Solidarity, Education, Support, and programs for parents.

1bot combines STEAM and robotics to enhance quality education in rural areas. Their mission is to equip students with skills in technology and innovation through accessible tools and platforms.

Since 2017, 1bot has brought education to more than 20,000 young people in public schools across Guatemala and Honduras.

SCALE allows entrepreneurs to find tools to develop their proposals within the framework of sustainable development goals.

SCALE has trained more than 50 entrepreneurs with its programs to enhance startups, showcasing early-stage social entrepreneurs.

Over 5 million Hispanics in the U.S. lack access to basic internet services, and 41% of the immigrant population has low digital literacy. This gap limits their educational and employment opportunities.

ICA promotes digital inclusion for immigrant communities in Palm Beach County. Through free educational programs and partnerships with local organizations, it provides training in smartphone use, digital platforms, and cybersecurity basics.

Since 2015, ICA has reached over 9,000 people. Its programs strengthen digital skills and improve access to key technologies for educational and personal development.
